Preservation and Safety Participants are trained in food-grade hygiene, preservation techniques, and shelf-life extension methods without the use of harmful additives. Branding and Packaging We cover the essentials of packaging, labeling, and compliance with food safety laws like FSSAI, including digital marketing tools to boost product reach. Entrepreneurship Opportunities Students develop business plans for micro-processing units and learn how to access government schemes and funding opportunities. 🐝 Apiculture (Beekeeping) Basics of Apiculture The program introduces the biology of bees, types of hives, and ideal environmental conditions for beekeeping in Uttarakhand and similar regions. Hive Management Techniques Participants learn to set up and maintain beehives, feed colonies during lean seasons, and protect them from pests like wasps and ants. Honey and Byproduct Extraction Training includes hygienic honey extraction, filtration, storage, and the creation of value-added products like wax candles and propolis balm.
